iLink Resources is Hiring a Project Manager - Construction (MH) Near Evansville, IL
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, required. Substantial field experience can be substituted for the degree or registration preferences.
- Registered Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer, required.
- Experience working in heavy industrial facilities, especially aluminum production and die casting.
- Robotic cell design experience is a plus.
- Experience managing installation contractors, working with both contractors and owners/engineers, and having good organizational skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.
- 8 years of relevant heavy industrial experience.
- Ability to drive the day-to-day activities to meet the overall program objectives, product integration, and ensure quality and safety compliance.
- Coordination with multiple contractors/companies to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and in sync.
- Create and maintain project timelines.
- Help define project scope, goals, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Identify and direct all resources required to execute successful projects.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of the project and to maintain specified budgets.
- Interface and coordinate with outside vendors, and drive resolutions to issues as required.
- Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Experience interfacing with Owners, Operations, Engineering/Design, Marketing, and ODM partners. Proven record of working in fast-paced environments.
- Advanced time management and analytical skills.
- Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to clearly document observations and existing field conditions.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D. (3D is preferred)
- Must be self-motivated and responsible, not requiring constant direction.
- Work will take place in the office and on a job site, and could include overtime when on-site managing specific projects.
